Shakhram Giyasov defeats Hungarian veteran Gabor Gorbics at the Kings Theatre

2016 Rio Olympic champion Shakhram Giyasov of Uzbekistan (2-0-0, 1 KO) returned to the Kings Theatre following his successful professional debut on March 10, 2018, a first-round knockout of Nicolas Atilio Velazquez.

On April 21, the 24-year-old Giyasov faced Hungarian veteran Gabor Gorbics, (24-10-0, 14 KO’s) in the junior middleweight division.

Giyasov earned a victory over Gorbics by winning points in the six-round bout at the Kings Theatre, Brooklyn.
