Ruzikul Berdiev: Al Faisaly clash is going to be as final match for us

A new season is set to kick off in Uzbekistan on Tuesday as FC Nasaf will welcome Al Faisaly SC of Jordan to Karshi Central Stadium in AFC Champions League Play-off match.

Head coach Ruzikul Berdiev and captain Maksude Karimov attended the pre-match press conference ahead of crucial match in Karshi.

“First of all, I would like to congratulate all the country with a historical victory at AFC U23 Championship 2018. They showed a great football in China and we are proud of the new generation of Uzbekistan”

“Tomorrow’s clash will be as the final match of the competition, while both teams are struggling to the group stage of a prestigious tournament, 2018 AFC Champions League.”

“We’ve been training for this match since December 2017 and we played many friendly matches against local and foreign clubs in Karshi, Tashkent and Turkey during this period.”

“The players who played for U23 Uzbekistan will join our side as they are ready to help us in tomorrow’s match against Al Faisaly SC.”
