Three major Uzbekistan stars missing from squad for Thailand and Iran clashes

Samvel Babayan has announced a 28-player squad of Uzbekistan for the upcoming matches including an international match against Thailand and Asian Qualifiers match against Iran at Azadi Stadium. However, three key players of Uzbek side have not been included in the final list because of injury.

FC Lokomotiv Tashkent’s centre-back Islom Tukhtakhujaev, FC Kokand-1912’s left-back Aleksandr Merzlyakov, and FC Lokomotiv Moscow’s left-back Vitaliy Denisov injured ahead of the most decisive games of The White Wolves, reports Uzbekistan Football Federation.
