Uzbekistan boxing team have earned only silver medal in Kazakhstan President's Cup

The fifth issue of Kazakhstan President Cup International Boxing Tournament will be finished off today. The boxers from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Korea Republic, Philippines, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Iran have been participating in this competition.

Uzbekistan started their participation with a full squad in in men’s ten weight categories and women’s three weight categories, but only one boxer have reached the final bout in his weight category.

At Welterweight, Bobo-Usmon Baturov squared off against the gold medalist of Youth World Boxing Championships Sadriddin Ahmedov from Kazakhstan. But, he failed to earn gold medal after his lost to Kazakhstan’s boxer.
