Ravshan Irmatov to officiate Guangzhou Evergrande and Buriram United match in 2018 AFC Champions League

The 37th edition of Asia's premier club football tournament, The 2018 AFC Champions League is few days away to get underway.

The winner of Uzbekistan Oliy Liga, FC Lokomotiv will take part in the upcoming ACL2018 campaign as they will begin their participation in Group B with Qatari Al Duhail SC, Al Wahda FC of UAE and Winner Play-off West 2 between Zob Ahan Esfahan F.C. from Iran and Indian Aizawl F.C.

The silver medalist of Uzbek league, Karshi-based FC Nasaf will face Jordan’s Al Faisaly SC in the Play-off stage at the Karshi Central Stadium, while the third place winners, FC Pakhtakor will struggle with Qatari Al Gharafa SC for earning a spot in the group stage at Thani bin Jassim Stadium in Doha on January 30.

Apart from Uzbek clubs, several referees of Uzbekistan will officiate in the upcoming season of the prestigious football tournament of the continent. Four-time Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Referee of the Year winner will work in the first matchday of Group G between Guangzhou Evergrande and Buriram United in Guangzhou on February 14.
