Maksam Chirchik claimed a 6-2 victory over Metallurg side in the opening match, while Samarkand stunned Sherdor with a 4-0 win in Group A.
In Group B, Bunyodkor picked a 3-2 win over Lokomotiv in a decisive match, but UzSanoatQurilishBank played a 3-2 draw with Zarafshan in their first matches.
