Mohim Orazmuhammedova and Abdumalik Abdusalimov claim gold medals in Uzbekistan Chess Championship
Uzbekistan Chess Championship took place at Republican Chess School in Tashkent. In the last stage of the tournament, the winners were awarded medals.
In women’s division, Mohim Orazmuhammedova from Karakalpakstan claimed a gold medal with 7.5 points, while Umida Omonova took a silver medal with 7 points and Ozoda Khusainova was awarded a bronze medal with 6.5 points.
Abdumalik Abdusalimov earned a gold medal with 8 points as Ibrohim Karimov gained a silver medal with 7 points and Asilbek Sobirov claimed a bronze medal with 7 points in men’s division.
