Sharofiddinov Lutfillaev has gained silver medal in IJF Grand Slam Paris 2017

Yesterday IJF Paris Grand Slam 2017 started as Uzbekistan national judo team also began their participation with a silver medal.

Sharoffiddin Lutfillaev (-60kg) representing Uzbekistan earned the first medal of the national team in Paris.

He started with a victory over Serbian Matjac Trbovc with Ippon score in Round 2 before he won Russian judoist Robert Mshvidobadze was shown two Shidos. In quarter-finals, Lutfillaev continued on his way scoring Ippon in a match against Brazilian Eric Takabatake and Channyeong Kim from Korea Republic in semi-finals.

However, Uzbekistan national judo team member stopped by Japanese Naohisa Takato by Ippon score in the final step to secure gold medal.
