Shokhida Akhmedova awarded a silver medal in 2018 Youth Olympic Games women’s freestyle
Uzbekistan’s Shokhida Akhmedova was awarded a silver medal in women’s freestyle at the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018.
Akhmedova advanced to the final as she earned the first place beating Tiare Ikei (USA), María Mosquera (VEN) and Nilufar Raimova (KAZ) in Group A.
However, Malmgren of Sweden won the freestyle 49kg class by virtue of victory by fall against Shokhida Akhmedova in the final.
