Abdumalik Khalokov earns Boxer of the 2019 Uzbekistan Boxing Championship award

Tashkent hosted the 2019 Uzbekistan Boxing Championship as nearly 200 Uzbek boxers competed for medals in 10 weight classes from 23 October to 29 October.

The final bouts saw new heroes such as Umarkul Ermatov, Fozil Abdumurodov, Oybek Juraev and Jamshid Abdullaev, who beat world-class Uzbek boxers in their gold campaign at the Universal Sports Palace.

However, Uzbekistan’s Youth Olympic Games winner Abdumalik Khalokov dominated all the rivals as finished the tournament with a powerful success. AIBA Youth World Champion Abdumalik Khalokov was quicker than Sardor Muzaffarov and proved clear dominancy with a unanimous-decision win.

Abdumalik Khalokov was awarded the Rufat Riskiev Boxer of the 2019 Uzbekistan Boxing Championship prize at the end of the tournament.
