AFC Champions League (West): Quarter-finalists confirmed

Persepolis, runners-up in 2018, and Al Nassr joined Al Ahli Saudi FC of Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan's Pakhtakor, who confirmed their places on Saturday, in the West Zone quarter-finals.

The draw for the knockout stage will take place in Doha at 11:00 local time (UTC +3) on Monday.

Persepolis sealed their quarter-final berth in dramatic fashion on Sunday, with Isa Al Kasir scoring an 88th minute winner for the Iran Pro League champions against Qatar's Al Sadd SC.

Al Nassr had talisman Abderrazak Hamdallah to thank as the Moroccan's sixth goal of the campaign saw them defeat domestic rivals Al Taawoun FC 1-0 to seal their spot in the quarter-finals.

Al Ahli Saudi, who finished top of Group A, advanced to the quarter-finals after defeating UAE's Shabab Al Ahli Dubai 4-3 on penalties, with the match having ended 1-1 after extra-time on Saturday.

Pakhtakor, in the quarter-finals for the first time since 2009, defeated Islamic Republic of Iran's Esteghlal FC 2-1, with the Uzbekistan side having advanced to the Round of 16 as Group B winners.

The quarter-finals will both be played on Wednesday, with the West Zone semi-final scheduled for October 3. All the matches will be played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
