Asian Boxing Championship 2017 set to launch in Tashkent tomorrow
Tashkent is ready to host Asian Boxing Championship 2017 which will be launched tomorrow and conclude a week later at Uzbekistan Sports Complex.
Nearly 200 boxers from 29 countries will compete for the championship of this tournament and earn the quota places for The World Boxing Championship which will take place in Germany in August.
Boxers, who will achieve a place at top seven in their weight classes, can gain places at The World Boxing Championship Germany 2017.
Uzbekistan national boxing team will participate in Asian Boxing Championship 2017 with the following squad.

Flyweight (52 kg). Jasurbek Latipov
Bantamweight (56 kg). Murodjon Ahmadaliev
Lightweight (60 kg). Elnur Abduraimov
Light Welterweight (64 kg). Iqbol Kholdorov
Welterweight (69 kg). Shahram Giyosov
Middleweight (75 kg). Isroil Madrimov
Light Heavyweight (81 kg). Bektemir Melikuziev
Heavyweight (91 kg). Sanjar Tursunov
Super Heavyweight (+ 91 kg). Bahodir Jalolov
