World Boxing Association (WBA) has updated its rankings for April. At the same time, the organization named unified world champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev the WBA Boxer of the Month". The WBA congratulates Akhmadaliev on his award and is eager to see the future performances in his career.

 

Murodjon Akhmadaliev (9-0, 7KOs) successfully defended his unified WBA and IBF world championship crown by defeating Japanese IBF mandatory challenger Ryosuke Iwasa (27-4, 17KOs) in the 5th round by TKO at the professional boxing night in Tashkent on April 3.
