The Chairman of the MMA Federation of Tajikistan met in Tashkent with the Chairman of the NOC of Uzbekistan

October 27, 2021. In Tashkent, in the building of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Federation of Amateur Mixed Martial Arts of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Djuraev Davron Muzafarovich and his first deputy, Khodjaev Bakhtiyor Tohirovich, with the President of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, respected Shaabdurakhmanov Rustam Mavzurovich, Deputy of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, The first Deputy Chairman of the Association of Mixed Martial Arts of Uzbekistan, dear Sherzod Toshmatov, and Deputy of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, dear Kamilov Azizzhan Yakubdzhanovich.

Highly appreciating the level of Tajik-Uzbek partnership achieved in recent years, the Federation of Amateur Mixed Martial Arts of the Republic of Tajikistan is making every possible effort for in-depth and mutually beneficial cooperation between fraternal peoples in the field of sports in the Central Asian region. Despite the fact that the widespread impact of the COVID 19 pandemic continues throughout the world, the federation is taking active measures at the systemic level to build the potential and stable development of sports in the regions.

During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of sports, strengthening and development of cooperation in the field of mixed martial arts, exchange of experience and mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties in the field of sports events based on the principles of equality, respect and sovereignty of the parties were discussed.

The parties expressed confidence that the agreements reached will serve to promote sports ties and further strengthen good-neighborly relations.
