World Boxing Council (WBC) has announced an updated Top 40 rankings. According to it, the positions of Uzbek fighters are as follows.
In the flyweight category (48.9kg) Hasanboy Dusmatov moved up one place to 33rd.
Two of Uzbek boxers is ranked in the super lightweight category (63.6 kg). Shohjahon Ergashev was at 22nd, as he was last month, while Anvar Turopov dropped one place to 40th.
In the welterweight division (66.6 kg) Kudratillo Abdukakhorov retained the 8th position.
In the super welterweight rankings (69.9kg) Israil Madrimov also down to 23rd place, while WBC youth world champion Ravshan Makhammadjonov took 40th place in the ranking.
In the super middleweight category (76.2 kg), Azizbek Abdugafurov, the owner of the WBC Silver belt, rose 3 places, stepping to 4th. Bektemir Melikuziev is also in 30th place, up 3 places from last month.
No other Uzbek boxers are included in this ranking.
