The unbeaten Uzbek boxer Shohjahon Ergashev arrived in Tashkent after he stunned Marquis Hawthorne in the NYC.
Uzbekistan’s Shohjahon Ergashev kept his perfect knockout record intact by stopping Marquis Hawthorne in the second round of a welterweight bout scheduled for six rounds in the first bout of the nine-fight card.
Ergashev, a southpaw who resides in Brooklyn, has won each his 10 professional fights by knockout. Hawthorne (5-8, 1 KO), of Waco, Texas, has lost six of his last eight fights.
