Uzbek boxers claim eight gold medals in the Memorial tournament in Russia

Uzbekistan’s boxers participated in the Memorial Boxing Tournament for the memory of the former coach of the USSR boxing team, A.A. Dementeyev and World Champion Y.V. Aleksandrov in Kamensk-Uralskiy, Russia on November 22-25.

Samandar Kholmurodov, Abdumalik Kholikov, Khalimbek Utenenov, Jahongir Rahmonov, Manguberdi Abdurasulov and Jamshid Mahamadaliev claimed gold medals in their weight categories.

Sodir Kamolmirzaev and Alimardon Abdujabborov gained silver medals as their young compatriots Otabek Ahadov and Komiljon Yusupov became champions in the junior division.
