Uzbek Sambo Athletes Begin Their Campaign at the World Cup

Yerevan, Armenia – The World Cup in Sport and Combat Sambo has officially kicked off, featuring top athletes from around the globe. With a prize pool of $196,000, the competition spans 28 weight categories, promising fierce battles and international recognition.

  • A'zam Rashidov (-64 kg)
  • Ubaydullo Muminov (-71 kg)
  • Askarbek Avganov (-88 kg)
• Combat Sambo:
  • Ruzmatboy Rakhimberganov (-71 kg)

Prize Distribution:

• Gold: $3,000
•  Silver: $2,000
•  Bronze: $1,000

 Veteran Uzbek referee Islom Odilov is also officiating at the tournament, ensuring fair play and high standards.
