Uzbekistan's Muhammad Ziyo Team are also taking part in the biggest international Taekwondo championship — Fujairah Open — from January 31 to February 2.
The squad includes young athletes such as Sayidolim Kosimov, Azizjon Rahimov, Muhammadyahyo Hasanov, Madina A’zamova, Jasur Mavlonov, Sanjar Khayrullaev, Shamsiddin Murodillaev, Abu Bakr Murodillaev, Mohirjon Mahamadnazarov, Islomjon Uktamjonov, Ali Bakhtiyorov and Nurzod Ruziboev.
The 8th edition of Fujairah Open has received more than 2000 entries including more than 1600 athletes from 43 countries.
The event became all the more important for international players after it was upgraded and ranked G-2 by the World Taekwondo headquartered in South Korea.
Athletes from Uzbekistan claimed 26 gold, 18 silver and 26 bronze medals in the previous editions of Fujairah Open since 2014.
