Uzbekistan's table tennis players kick-off their ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championship campaign in Indonesia

Yogyakarta is hosting the 24th ITTF Asian Table Tennis Championship at the Among Rogo sports hall 15 September to 22 September 2019.

44 athletes from 36 countries are contesting in the competition, which also serves as a qualifying round for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. There are nine categories at the upcoming event.

In women’s singles, Regina Kim earned a 3-1 win over Turkmenistan’s Oguljanet Niyozgulijonova, while Mehriniso Norkulova beat Jordanian Yara Al-Dmasi 3-0 in the opening games.
