Albina Khabibulina has earned a place in the quarterfinals of Shymkent Open 2017

Uzbekistan's Albina Khabibulina booked a place in the quarterfinals of the second round of International Tennis Tournament - Shymkent Open.

After her confident victory (6-3, 6-2) over Kazakhstan's Yekaterina Dmitrichenko in the opening meeting was held on the clay court of National Tennis Center, Khabibulina faced off Ksenija Sharipova from Russia in the next stage of the tournament.

Russian player took the lead after she finished the first set with a 6-3 score before Albina Khabibulina managed to make a comeback when Uzbekistan international with two consequent wins in the second and third sets.

In the quarterfinals, Khabibulina will meet Ukranian Kateryna Sliusar who earned two successful results in the previous rounds.
