Uzbekistan's Iroda Tulyaganova has been appointed as Asian Tennis Federation Senior Vice President at the federation's Board of Directors meeting in Melbourne on Monday.
Last February, Uzbekistan’s women tennis legend was elected as the Secretary-General of Uzbekistan Tennis Federation.
Iroda Tulyaganova was born on 7 January 1982. She won several tournaments during her career, including junior Wimbledon. Her highest position in WTA ranking was 16.
Anil Khanna of India was nominated Life President of the continental body, while his compatriot CS Raju was elected as Senior Vice President of the ATF, representing South Asia.
