Ljubinko Drulovic: Uzbekistan U23 manage to dominate Korean side in the second period

Uzbekistan U23 head coach Ljubinko Drulovic talked to the media in the press conference after the match at the Cheonan Stadium.

We had a training camp in Korea for a week as we played two friendly matches with Korea Republic U23, said the 51-year-old Serbian head coach.

I think both games were very useful for both sides. Korean side is one of the leaders on the continent. With such an opponent, we can see our mistakes and what we should work on.

Regarding today's game. Of course, we missed the first half. Very few chances and a number of errors on the pitch. But we were able to start the second period with more confident. I can say our side dominate another 45-minute period and tried to keep the opponent under pressure. In the end, we manage to claim a 2-1 win come from behind.

There are still 3 months to go to the 2020 AFC U23 Championship. Next month, we will organise training sessions and friendly matches. We try to prepare for defending our title in the continental championship.
