Our judokas came second in individual bouts at the Asian Judo Championship

In Thailand, the Asian Judo Championship is coming to an end. Yesterday the winners in heavy weight categories were determined.

Two of our compatriots - Shakhzodkhuja Sharipov and Nurbek Murtazaev - reached the finals in the -90 kg category. Sharipov won this confrontation. In addition, Marjona Kuchimova also climbed the podium, winning bronze in the -78 kg weight category.

Gold:

-90 kg: Shakhzodkhuja Sharipov

Silver:

-90 kg: Nurbek Murtazaev

Bronze:

-78 kg: Marjona Kuchimova

The national judoka finished the individual program with 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals. Thanks to this result, the national team of Uzbekistan took the second place in the medal standings after Japan.
