Shokhsanam Toshpulatova earns the first gold medal for Uzbekistan
In Women's 100m Butterfly S13 Final, Shokhsanam Toshpulatova finished her race strongly by winning her first title at the Para-swimming World Championships as she set an Asian record of 1:03.89.
Islam Aslanov of Uzbekistan also added a silver medal into Uzbekistan’s medal tally after he missed the podium by 2.04 seconds in Men's 100m Butterfly S13 Final.
