Taekwondo WT. Svetlana Osipova is the world champion!

Another day of the World Taekwondo Championship, which is being held in Mexico, turned out to be successful for the Uzbek national team.

According to the press service of the NOC, our compatriot Svetlana Osipova, who competed in the weight category +73 kg, became the world champion!

In the final match, Osipova beat Israeli Dana Arzan in the 3rd round (2:1). Thus, Osipova went down in history as the first taekwondo athlete from Uzbekistan to win the World Championships.
