Uzbek athletes claim 13 medals at 2019 Sambo and Combat Sambo Championships

The 13-athlete Uzbekistan national sambo and combat sambo team claimed 13 medals including 2 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals in this competition.

In the opening day, Uzbekistan’s Zafar Allaberganov (-68 kg) and Sirojiddin Anorqulov (-57 kg) claimed gold medals in combat sambo events. Bekzod Nurmatovga (-82 kg) of Uzbekistan received a defet in the final and finished the competition second with silver medal, while Ulugbek Rahmonov (-82 kg), Zuhrakhon Ma’murjonova (-52 kg) and Timur Khudoykulov (-68 kg) were awarded bronze medals.

Uzbekistan’s Zarnigor Urmonova (56 kg) earned a silver medal in sambo events as her compatriots Sherzod Rasulov (62 kg), Ne’mat Yokubov (90 kg), Istam Kudratov (74 kg), Hakimjon Ismoilov (+100 kg) gained silver medals.  Abbos Jalolov (74 kg) va Ikrom Abdukarimov (52 kg) ended their participation with bronze medals in Moscow.
