Uzbekistan halt hosting international sports competitions over coronavirus

Taking into account the current situation, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports banned hosting any international sports competitions to avoid CoVID-19 virus penetration into the country.

According to the media release, international sports events planned to be held in the country have been temporarily suspended in order to prevent the penetration of the coronavirus pandemic into our country.

In addition, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and regional sports competitions in coordination with regional health departments have been tasked with holding republican sports competitions (championships and trophies).
