Uzbekistan's sambo wrestlers win another medal at the Asian-Oceania Championship

The Asian and Oceania Sambo Championship continues in Tashkent. At the competition, medals were awarded to athletes in 16 weight categories.
Members of our national team Vazira Nurullayeva (-47kg), Shahzoda Isokboyeva (-65kg), Dilnozakhon Karimova (-72kg), Davlatjon Kozimov (-64kg) and Muhammadyusuf Yusufjonov (-71kg), Muhammadjon Yusupov (-79 kg), Shokhjahon Golibov (-88 kg) and Saidakhmad Ravshanov (-98 kg), having defeated all their rivals, were awarded gold medals.  

Iroda Savronova, Khulkar Zhuraeva and Alisher Rasulov rose to the second step of the podium in their weight categories, Shakhnoza Baltanova, Gulasal Oblokulova, Kamola Vafokulova and Gamzat Maksetbaev were awarded bronze medals of the championship. Thus, our athletes won 8 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals in competitions among juniors.

Sambo and combat sambo competitions among youth in 28 weight categories will be held today.
