The Uzbek Tigers joined to the World Series of Boxing in Season VI when their boxers reached the Semi-finals as a new Asian franchise.

The Uzbeks had to meet with a South American franchise Venezuela Caciques twice and the strong Central Asians were able to beat them 5-0 in the Alpomish Sport Majmuasi in Termez.

Rio 2016 Olympic Games winner Shakhobiddin Zoirov had the strongest possible rival, Rio 2016 Olympic Games bronze medallist Yoel Finol but in spite of his few difficulties the Uzbek was able to win their narrow bantamweight (56kg) match.
