Uzbekistan play a goalless draw with Jordan at the AFC U-16 Championship 2018 Qualifiers

Jordan and Uzbekistan stayed on track to qualify for the AFC U-16 Championship 2018 Malaysia after settling for a 0-0 draw in their Group A tie at the Al Riyadh Sports Club on Friday.

The result took both teams to seven points, with Jordan topping the group on superior goal difference.

Uzbekistan had beaten Bahrain 1-0 and Sri Lanka 6-0 in their first two matches but face a tough final day as they will play Saudi Arabia.

For Jordan to win the group, they will have to defeat Bahrain who they play in their final match on Sunday.

Jordan started the qualifiers on a sensational note as they beat hosts Saudi Arabia 2-1 before following up with a 7-0 win over Sri Lanka.
