2021 Golden Girl Boxing Championships to take place in Boras

The next 12th Golden Girl Boxing Championships is scheduled to be held for the elite, youth and junior women boxers, furthermore for the youngest talents, the schoolgirls as well.

The Golden Girl Boxing Championships has got an excellent brand name and all of the National Federations worldwide know the strength of the busy woman competition. Mr. Ray Husac is the organizer of the Golden Girl Boxing Championships who is waiting for participants from the European, Asian, African, Oceanian and also from the African Confederations in 2021.

The 2021 edition of the Golden Girl Boxing Championships could be preparation event for those who already qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games and for all of the boxers who will be focusing to their continental events in the youth, junior and schoolgirls age groups. Among the best women’s boxing nations, Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Italy, England, France, Ireland, Australia and many others all competed in the recent editions.

The 10th-anniversary edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup was a great success in Boras, Sweden on February 2019 where altogether 254 boxers from 23 nations competed for the medals in four age groups. Among the top boxing nations, Chinese Taipei and Thailand sent boxers to the 10th edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup at the very first time in the history of the competition and among their talents four of them won the gold medals in Boras. Chinese Taipei’s AIBA World Champion and currently Tokyo Olympian Chen Nien Chin became the best boxer of the event, the Golden Girl in 2019.

The last 11th edition of the Golden Girl Boxing Championships took place on February 2020 when high number of nations joined to the event with several stars on the board. The Golden Girl Boxing Championships is holding in a small city in Boras which is located in the south part of Sweden. Altogether 297 women boxers attended in the last edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup which was record in the history of the event and makes it to the biggest female boxing competition in the whole world.  

The Indian junior and youth boxing teams amazed in the third and final competition day at the 11th edition of the Golden Girl Box Cup where top boxers attended from four different continents. India’s first gold medal in the event in 2020 was achieved by Nivedita Karki who triumphed over Ireland’s Carleigh Maria Irving at the junior light flyweight (48kg). Another Indian future hope, a youth talent, Muskan also impressed in the last edition of the event.
