Mohammed Al Shamlan believes his guys can beat the rivals at Bunyodkor stadium

A few hours ago, Al Hidd SC delegation has arrived in Tashkent ahead of AFC Champions league Preliminary match with Uzbekistan’s FC Nasaf will take place at Bunyodkor stadium on Tuesday.

After receiving a warm welcome, Al Hidd SC head coach Mohammed Al Shamlan gave a brief interview to SPORTS.uz reporter about his expectations from the match.

"FC Nasaf was really one of the strongest teams in Asia until their failure was done during the last year" he started the speech. "However, they have a good experience to participate in AFC based tournaments. Also, I may tell that there are several key players at FC Nasaf squad who will be a headache for us during the Tuesday’s match. Namely, midfielders Sharof Muhitdinov and Azizjon Ganiev, remarkable striker Dragan Ceran, and Uzbekistan national team goalkeeper Eldorbek Suyunov. Nearly eight players have always been called up to the national team of Uzbekistan which means by FC Nasaf side are still strong except their last year’s poor result."

AL Hidd SC boss continued on revealing that they learnt the tactics and all the players of FC Nasaf before the arrival of Tashkent. "We have enough information about FC Nasaf and we studied the club in all the aspects with reliable information."

During the interview, he unveiled about his recent appointment to the head coach position of Bahrain side a week ago. But, he reported his goals confidentially which should be achieved in the game against FC Nasaf. "We came to beat and book a ticket to the last round of AFC Champions League Qualifications. Of course, I have been appointed to the head coach position recently. But, we have confidence and belief to win over FC Nasaf at their home. Because, AL Hidd SC is the same level with Uzbekistan club and both sides the same the opportunity to gain the victory of the match, even the match is being hosted in Uzbekistan."
