Uzbekistan U-23's captain Zabikhillo Urinboev joins FC Surkhon

Urinboev played for the Uzbekistan national youth teams in international tournaments such as 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup, 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup and 2018 AFC U-23 Championship, in which he would win the latter tournament with Uzbekistan national U-23 team.

The 23-year-old started his career in Uzbek League club FC Bunyodkor before he moved to FC Almalyk and joined FC Pakhtakor in 2017. He scored two goals for FC Metallurg last season.
