In a re-match of the 2011 AFC Asian Cup semi-final, reigning champions Australia will meet Hector Cuper's emerging Uzbekistan, after both sides qualified by finishing second in their respective groups.

So far, White Wolves were unlucky to score a goal against Australia in their three meetings. Uzbekistan received two defeats from Australia in 2010 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers before they was stunned with a shocking 6-0 defeat from the Socceroos in 2011 AFC Asian Cup.
