Central Asian Fencing Confederation is formed in Tashkent

International Fencing Federation (Fédération Internationale d'Escrime) Executive Committee member V. Logvin suggested to form the Central Asian Fencing Confederation taking into consideration that fencing is becoming more popular in Central Asia.

The proposal was accepted by each of National Fencing Federations of Central Asian countries. And, Kazakhstan Fencing Federation Vice President R. Kichikov emphasized to form Executive Body of the Central Asian Fencing Confederation and recommended Uzbekistan Fencing Federation President Rustam Shoabrahmonov’s candidate for Central Asian Fencing Confederation President position.

Participants of the congress agreed to appoint Rustam Shoabrahmonov as Central Asian Fencing Confederation President.
