Eldor Shomurodov: Hector Cuper told me he would give me a chance

After the crucial match in AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019, opening game’s hero Eldor Shomurodov talked to the media.

“We earned a very important victory in the opener. But it was very difficult for both teams. Of course, I’m very grateful that I scored a winning goal for Uzbekistan fielded in from the bench.

“During the training sessions, Hector Cuper told me that he will give me a chance in the second period of the match. And, I proved his trust with my goal.

“I would like to say many thanks to the fans who supported us during the whole match at the stadium. We will do our best to win other matches too.
