FC Pakhtakor secured a 4-1 victory over Azerbaijan Premier League side Sabail FC

Uzbekistan Oliy Liga side FC Pakhtakor are continuing their training sessions in Istanbul in the framework of the preparation plan for the second phase of the league.

The Lions faced Azerbaijan Premier League club Sabail FC in a friendly match took place at the Green Park Stadium on Monday. Azim Ahmedov opened the scoring for Uzbek side before Marko Simic doubled the lead from a free-kick. Azeri side decreased the deficit by giving hopes to his side as they went to the break.

Two goals from Zabikhillo Urinboev and Jamshid Iskanderov ensured a 4-1 victory for FC Pakhtakor in the first trial match in Istanbul training camp.

Shota Arveladze’s side will play against Saudi Pro League club Al Ettifaq at the Green Park Stadium on Friday.
