Hasanboy Dusmatov will be awarded with AIBA Best Elite Men Boxer 2016

On December 7, AIBA announced the voting campaign on its official twitter account in order to identify AIBA Best Elite Men Boxer 2016.

There are three candidates for the award in the polling posted on twitter, including Hasanboy Dusmatov representing Uzbekistan.

Meet the candidates:

  1. Hasanboy Dusmatov (Uzbekistan) - gold medalist of 2016 RIO Olympic Games
  2. Robeisy Ramirez (Cuba) – gold medalist of 2016 RIO Olympic Games
  3. Daniyar Yeleussinov (Kazakhstan) - gold medalist of 2016 RIO Olympic Games

According to the polling on twitter, Hasanboy Dusmatov took the leading with 77% of all votes, where Kazakhstan’s Daniyar Yeleussinov became the runner-up with 18% and Cuban Robeisy Ramirez stayed at the third place with 5%.

If AIBA does not conduct a new voting campaign for AIBA Best Elite Men Boxer 2016, our compatriot Hasanboy Dusmatov will be awarded with this prestigious prize on December 20.
