I.R. Iran will face off with African powerhouse team in Dubai

Iran will face off with Morocco in an international friendly match will be held in its training camp in Dubai, UAE on January 6.

This international friendly is a phase of preparation for the match against Qatar in 2018 World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

I.R. Iran was named as an unbeatable team in Group A after winning over Qatar, Uzbekistan and South Korea and drawing with China PR and Syria in the first leg of 2018 World Cup Asian Qualifiers. Iran tops Group A with 11 points, followed by South Korea 10 points and Uzbekistan 9 points.

Similarly, the match against I.R. Iran could be helpful for African powerhouse team, Morocco who is preparing for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations which will take place in Gabon from January 14 to February 5.
Morocco will compete with defending champion Ivory Coast, DR Congo and Togo the tournament in the Group C of the tournament.
