Iraq squad announced for Uzbekistan friendly
Iraq will travel to Tashkent on Monday with the match serving as preparation for the resumption of the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
Iraq are top of Group C of the Asian qualifiers with 11 points from five matches, two ahead of Bahrain while Islamic Republic of Iran are third.
Uzbekistan are leading Group D with nine points but Saudi Arabia can seize top spot if they defeat Palestine on March 30.
