FC Sogdiyona travelled to Guzar for their Oliy Liga match against FC Shurtan in the twenty-sixth matchday of the league.

Laziz Ubaydullaev broke the deadlock in the 31st minute of the game before Jasur Kholturaev doubled their advantage at the end of the first period. Yevgeniy Kochnev added the third, while Otabek Valijonov decreased the deficit in the injury minutes.
