The twenty-fourth matchday of Uzbekistan Oliy Liga was held on October 13-14 as the defending champions FC Lokomotiv strengthened their bid for the league title while Shota Arveladze’s FC Pakhtakor bagged all three points after they won FC Navbahor 2-0 at the Pakhtakor Stadium.

FC Navbahor couldn’t manage to repeat their underdog victory against FC Pakhtakor at the Lokomotiv Stadium, while they were defeated by the defending champions FC Lokomotiv on Friday.

Both sides had few chances to open the scoring, but the score remained unchanged at the interval. The Railwaymen started the second period with a high game phase, while they took the lead through Marat Bikmaev in the 57th minute.

Salim Mustafoev’s second ensured a 2-0 victory for the hosts and strengthened their bid for the Oliy Liga title.

FC Dinamo bagged all three points in Samarkand

FC Dinamo earned a 1-0 victory in the twenty-fourth matchday of Uzbekistan Oliy Liga as they welcomed FC Almalyk to Samarkand on Friday.

A 67-minute strike from Iskandar Kholmirzaev broke the deadlock and provided important points for the hosts in front of the home crowd.

FC Pakhtakor gained a 2-0 victory at home

Shota Arveladze's FC Pakhtakor bagged all three points as they hosted FC Kokand-1912 in the twenty-fourth matchday of Uzbekistan Oliy Liga on Saturday evening.

However, the hosts opened the scoring after 19 minutes in, Tiago Bezerra entered the box as he skipped past the defenders and targeted the post. The ball was received by Sukhrob Nurulloev, who mad the breakthrough.

Brazilian Tiago Bezerra increased his personal goal tally in the league after headed a goal in the 57th minute of the game by allowing his team doubled their lead.

Zohid Abdullaev’s opening goal broke a 73-minute goalless period before Farruh Ikromov put the sides on levels in the second-period stoppage time.

FC Shurtan hosted FC Bukhara in their Oliy Liga match at the Guzar Stadium on Saturday evening. Javohir Kahramonov gave an early lead for the visitors after two minutes in. Ergash Ismoilov doubled their advantages 15 minutes later, before Ivan Nagaev shocked FC Shurtan as he added the third one.

Otabek Narzullaev decreased the deficit by giving a hope for his side at the interval. FC Shurtan was near to earn a single point, while Jasur Kholturaev scored a second for the hosts two minutes to complete. But, the score remained unchanged in the final whistle in Guzar.
