Perfect start by Uzbek Judoists in Uchkun Muradov Memorial Judo Tournament

Chirchik is hosting International Judo Tournament in the memory of Uchkun Muradov. More 160 judoists from 10 countries are competing for the prestigious trophy of the competition.

Uzbekistan’s cadets and female judoists earned 6 gold, 4 silver and 6 bronze medals in the first day of the tournament.

In 60 kg weight category, Uzbek judoist Kamron Nurullaev faced off Kyrgyzstan’s Asman Okilbek in the final match and stunned his rival by Ippon score when his compatriot Artyom Shturbabin also gained a gold medal by beating Russian Javdan Abdulkhanov in 66 weight category.

In 73 weight category, the crowd witnessed the Uzbek clash when two judoists representing Uzbekistan fought for the gold medal in this weight category and Sardor Karimov managed to grab a victory over Mironshoh Sultanov by Yuko score.

Mironshoh Sultonov and Feruz Uklonov awarded silver medals in their weight categories as their compatriots Elbek Ulashev, Muso Sobirov, Manusher Shirinov, Tohir Kurbonboev, Behruz Omondavlatov, and Kobuljon Ahmedov received bronze medals in the competition.

Also, female judoists Kimyo Marasulova, Sanobar Sultonova, and Gulnur Murodboeva achieved gold medals when Nodira Abdukayumova and Marjona Bobokandova won silver medals in Uchkun Muradov Memorial Judo Tournament.
