Rustam Jangaboev awarded Ravon Nexia R3 for his success in the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games

189-athlete Uzbekistan team participated in the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan on September 17-27.

Uzbekistan’s athletes claimed 131 medals including 24 gold, 33 silver, and 74 bronze medals, and earned the 5th place in the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games medal tally.

Several athletes from the Republic of Karakalpakstan gained landmark results for Uzbekistan in the 10-day-long competition. Rustam Jangaboev claimed a gold medal in weightlifting and awarded with the car "Ravon Nexia R3".

Bronze medalist Ubbaniyoz Turaniyozov in Muay Thai, Davletbike Yakhshimurodova and Sevara Eshmuratova in wrestling and their coaches were given prizes by the government.
