Tashkent hosting Uzbekistan Wrestling Championship

The Uzbekistan Wrestling Championship is being held on December 15-19 in Universal Sports Complex in Tashkent. The championship consists of Greco-Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, and Female Wrestling.

More than 400 athletes from different places of Uzbekistan are competing to be the gold medals of the championship organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan Wrestling Association.

Similarly, Uzbekistan Wrestling team coaches are also participating in the competition in order to observe the wrestlers in term of selecting best candidates for the national team.

In early days, men took part in Greco-Roman wrestling to identify the gold medalist of the competition on December 15-16.

On December 17, the championship continued with female wrestling bouts.
