The U17 World Wrestling Championships kicked off in Jordan today. Greco-Roman wrestlers will take to the mat on the first day of the tournament. There will be performances in 5 weight categories during the day. Uzbekistan athletes will begin their participation against the following opponents:

-48 kg: Khusniddin Abdukarimov - Martin Manikyan (Armenia)
-55 kg: Sardor Kholmurzaev - Jaden Raney (USA)
-65 kg: Fayozbek Eshmirzaev - Rego Torda (Hungary) / Jure Rajkovic (Croatia)
-80 kg: Shohjahon Shavkatov - Emad Muhsinnazhod (Iran)
-110 kg: Saidamir Nematov - Ivan Yankovsky (Ukraine)
