Transfer News. FC Neftchi striker Sherzod Khakimov may sign a contract with Foolad Khuzestan FC

FC Neftchi player Sherzod Khakimov is close to continuing his career in the Persian Gulf Pro League, reports club’s media department on Wednesday.

According to the official media release, the 30-year-old striker finished the negotiations with Foolad Khuzestan Football Club and departed for conducting the medical examinations.

Sherzod Khakimov started his career at FC Neftchi before he transferred to FC Almalyk at the beginning of the 2014 season. However, he had to back to FC Neftchi after a six-month period and continued to score goals for the Great Chinars.
