Transfer News. Rostyn Griffiths close to joining Oliy Liga club FC Pakhtakor from Perth Glory

It has been confirmed that Rostyn Griffiths will be leaving the club with immediate effect to pursue an opportunity overseas, reports the media department of the Perth Glory.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who rejoined Glory for a second spell at the start of last season, has agreed to join Uzbekistan Oliy Liga club FC Pakhtakor.

Griffiths himself, meanwhile, acknowledged that it had been a difficult decision to leave his hometown club.

In his two spells with the club, Griffiths made a total of 59 Hyundai A-League appearances, scoring eight goals.
