Uzbek athletes claim 21 medals in the 11th World Kurash Senior Championship in Istanbul

Uzbekistan’s wrestlers participated in the 11th World Kurash Senior Championship took place in Istanbul between November 30 and December 4.

The Uzbeks surprised the world as they claimed 21 gold medals, including 10 gold medals at Hasan Doğan Sports Complex.

Kumush Yuldosheva, Dildor Shermatova, Mohinur Muminova, Gulnor Sulaymonova, Rahima Yuldosheva, Kamoliddin Rasulov, Shuhratjon Arslonov, Muhsin Hisomiddinov, Shahram Ahadov and Davlat Abraev earned gold medals.

Ilhom Juraev, Muhriddin Kurbonov, Malohat Ruzieva, Oysuluv Abdumajidova, Omongul Allanazarova and Mohinur Pirnazarova were awarded silver medals, while their compatriots Gulmira Ismatova, Gavhar Khudoykulova, Maftuna Esonova, Rinata Ilmatova and Begam Boyimova gained bronze medals.
